It's budget season and difficult decisions are being made about what to keep and what to cut when sufficient funds are not available. The ASCD Whole Child campaign is in full swing and many of you have already taken an active role to ensure that every child is healthy, safe, engaged, supported and challenged.  We'd like to remind you of the resources available to you as you try to protect what's important.

Visit the Whole Child website including:

• The “Grade Your School and Community” tool to evaluate your school and community and offer recommendations for action
• News articles updated several times a week on topics relevant to the Whole Child
• Resource Clearinghouse with reports, articles, tools for each of the five areas of the compact

The Whole Child Community Conversations Project including:

• Facilitator's guides for informal conversations and conversations with high school students
• A PowerPoint presentation with talking points
• All necessary handouts
• A feedback form to respond back to ASCD

• Sign-on to www.wholechildeducation.org and sign-up for the free whole child newsletter.
