Classroom Walk-throughs are a powerful tool to gauge the impact of instructional practice on student learning. Teachers can use Walk-throughs to coach each other and inform planning; administrators can use Walk-throughs to stay connected to what teachers and students are doing in the classroom. Jerry Goldberg has 30 years experience in classroom teaching , school and district administration, and professional training. Jerry has designed and led staff development on a range of topics: teaching and learning in a standards-based classroom; mentoring programs for beginning teachers; differentiated instruction; advancing students’ higher order thinking skills; and supervision and evaluation.
