healthy|safe|challenged|supported|engaged

Picture
To be equipped for success, students need a well-rounded, challenging education  and more. Researchers and practitioners have clearly identified five critical components of a  “whole child” education. If students are to master world-class academics, they need to be physically and emotionally healthy and safe. They need to be intellectually challenged. They need supportive adults who know them well and care about their success. Lastly, students need to be interested and engaged in what they are learning.
